Analysis of song lryrics

Respected sir,

Here is my views regarding this movie song and it’s lyrics,.. ‘Aadmi Azaad Hai.’

Aadami aazaad hai, desh bhi swatantra hai
Raaja gaye raani gayi abb toh prajatantra hai

(Jan ke liye, jan ke dwaara, janata ka raaj hai
Prajatantra sabse bada, hum sabko naaz hai) - (2)
Vote chhota sa magar shakti mein anant hai
Abb toh prajatantra hai - (2)
Aadami aazaad hai, desh bhi swatantra hai
Vote chhota sa magar shakti mein anant hai
Abb toh prajatantra hai - (2)
Aadami aazaad hai (jheeni jheeni jheeni jheeni re....)
Aadami aazaad hai, desh bhi swatantra hai

(Khil rahi thi kali kali, mehke thi gali gali
Aap tabhi saap huye, hum ho gaye chhipkali) - (2)
Satta ki yeh bhuk vikat, aaj hai na ant hai
Abb toh prajatantra hai - (2)
 Aadami aazaad hai
Satta ki yeh bhuk vikat, aaj hai na ant hai
Abb toh prajatantra hai - (2)
 Jheeni jheeni jheeni jheeni re....

(Arre jiski laathi usaki bhains, saap ne bana diya
Hey note ki khan khan sunaake vote ko gunga kiya) - (2)
Party fund yagya kund ghotaala matra hai
Abb toh prajatantra hai - (2)
 Aadami aazaad hai
Party fund yagya kund ghotaala matra hai
Abb toh prajatantra hai - (2)
(Aadami aazaad hai (jheeni jheeni jheeni jheeni)
Desh bhi swatantra hai (jheeni jheeni jheeni jheeni)
Raaja gaye raani gayi abb toh prajatantra hai) - (2)

Here in this  song we came to know about how our politicians n politics play a vital role by mesmerizing speech during election time. Our politician’s goes on promising for better future of our country like “Achhe Din”.

In the beginning stanza lyrics like Aadami Azaad Hai .. As independent country like India people have freedom to do as they like they have right to choice whatever is good for them. Or their country is also independent,  so now there is no one from this country that is enslaved  by britisher. As independent country now  India  has it’s own political parties  that came into existence. Because there is no monarchy that people do as ordered by king or  queen. So there is full liberty to do as they people like to do. People are in the center.

In the second stanza of the song we came to know about democracy system of our country that it is,
 For the people,
By the people,
Of the people,
Through these lines we can easily understood that our government  give priority to people as they have supreme power by voting and select a appropriate political party and politicians to rule over them. Because if they have choose someone as their leader or hero it means they have much faith on him rather then themselves. And as a rule of our country that people have to decide who will be in power postion in political sphere. So it is appropriate lines from songs are, “Prajatantra Sabse bada, hum sab ko naaz hai” people have proud that their government give them supremacy. But innocent people do not know that some day when they will come into power position  they do not know what was the promise that he was given during election days.  One vote that looks very small in numbers  but when result came out it looks that each vote is necessary to win one political party that came into existence. One who defeated by lack of one vote is know the real value of one vote.

Here is description of election season when voting season is going on political party busy with the propaganda of their political party. people see polticians as a saap because on those days they were very actively participate in all activity so we can connect those movements with snake costant movement or people connect themselves with chipkali because while political party propaganda their party they have just watch the movements which is performed by parties just like chipkali when  it goes on searching or trapping insects into trap it become more conscious or observer of insects movements. Same here lyricist Ashok Mishra try to use metaphors of ‘saap’ or ‘chipkali’. Here ‘Saap’ clear the idea of propaganda  and people as ‘chipkali’ by observing the actively movements of political parties.

There is no end of greediness that every political party has its own. In satirical tone lyricist say that ‘satta ki yeh bhukh vikat, aaj hai na ant hai’ and these all happens on the name of people that they choose him as their hero. Here we find visual image that we can see the clear image of one’s intention to draw our attention towards the importance of power that one has. Throughout the song we find clear image of powerful people that suppressed so called democratic people. They do work on the name of people of their country by saying that ‘ Ab toh Prajatantra hai, ab toh prajatantra hai’.

Here lyricist uses hindi proverb “ jiski laathi usaki bhains”  it means that who use their power for pleasure and misuse their power. Here lyricist also uses metaphors that has use to misuse the democracy or freedom through by the power or base of money. And another line that ‘he note ki khan khan sunake vote ko gunga kiya’ sometimes it may heard that in election season political party manipulate backward people by giving them rupees for to vote his party or by collecting more people they win at last but this type of corruption we find in every field like education, recruitment, to gain something people use these type of corruption. But here in these lines people who lives in backward area and also illiterate people don’t have much sense about this type of corruption they have only concern with money. So they did not think about how they affect country’s  political  situation.

But here lyricist also satirist on politician that gave this type of offer which misleads people and also affect the real or actual result of election. Some people that take election seriously and  to vote as his duty for his country but these type of politicians ruin the real result of election. And here it not ends when they came into power position they collect those money that they offer them to vote his party by saying that this or that fund will be beneficial to them again the people were cheated by them. Throughout 5 years of their rule they make lots of money on the name of funds and then again new party  do the same with people by saying that ‘Ab to prajatantra hai, Ab to prajatantra hai’

Aim of the song:-  Ultimately, there is an effective picture of so called democracy system that we have under the suppression of power and money. But in reality  or actual sense we have behind the artificial freedom  that lyricist tries to depict here very well.

Palanquin Bearers.

Palanquin Bearers-  Sarojini Naidu. Summary. Palanquin bearers is a melodious poem. The poem describes the scene of a bride being carried on a palanquin. The poem generates images of royal wives being carried on a palanquin to their husbands house. The men who carried the palanquin felt that their job was special and did it with much happiness. The similies in the poem point to the fact that the men did not feel that their job was tiresome. Some examples of the same are, 'Softly, O softly we bear her along', 'She hangs like a star in the dew of our song' and 'Lightly, O lightly we glide and we sing'. Palanquin bearers is melodious and one of the most appealing poems of Sarojni Naidu. The poem describes the beauty of the bride while she is being carried in a palanquin. We are reminded of one of the ancient customs of carrying royal brides in India in decorated carriages to their husband’s home. Occasionally, the men of the royal families would trav

The Dance of the Eunuchs.

The Dance of the Eunuchs - Kamala Das. Summary- Included in the collection Summer in Calcutta(1965), 'Dance of the Eunuchs' is one of the most remarkable poems of Kamala Das. This is another autobiographical poem written in confessional style that symbolically portrays the poetess's personal melancholy in her own life.  'Dance of the Eunuchs' vividly conjures up the atmosphere of a hot, tortured, corrupt, sterile and barren world through vivid symbols and images. The dance of the eunuchs whose joyless life reflects the poet‘s fractured personality is a noticeable piece of autobiographical poetry. Kamala Das has vividly visualized the world of vacant ecstasy and sterility through numerous functional images and symbols in her poetry. In fact Eunuchs try to eke out a livelihood by dancing. Their dancing is mechanical and painful. The conditions and the climate are forbidding. The spectators are merciless. Even God seems to add their woes. The eunuchs
