Modernist Poems.

Respected sir, In the modernist poem we have to go deep in the inside of the poem to identify the aaqaqaqmetaphors in the poem. But in the modernist poem, poet uses metaphors without realizing it. At first glance, we can’t able to find metaphors in the poems. The aim of the poet to Use metaphors in the poem is to make the writing more interesting and helping the reader to understand what the poet is trying to convey. Here I try to identify some metaphors which are used in the poems. The Embankment – T. E. Hulme . Once, in finesse of fiddles found I ecstasy, In a flash of gold heels on the hard pavement. Review of Reluctant Fundamentalist.

Respected sir, The second movie is “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” directed by Mira Niar and written by Mohsin Hamid. Writer himself comes from Pakistan so depiction of history of Pakistan and it relation with U.S we find in the movie plot. The movie deals with American history and 9/11 attack here we also find politics that the impact of al -Qaida and its connection with attack on twins tower. Political backgrounds we find in the history of both country that I like to put here, prior to attack on world trade centre. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were supporters of Taliban in Afghanistan. It helps us to get clear idea about the basic concept of postcolonialism, and here I try to justify my views as review of these two movies. In postcolonial study we have gone through different topics like race, colonialism, gender, politics and language that all has deep connection with postcolonial studies. It also related with the power of hegemony and the mindset of the people. And these all points are there in the movies so let’s see and try to identify the depiction of postcolonialism in the movies like ‘Midnight’s Children’ and the second one is ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’. If we minutely observe that two films has so many similar topics like freedom struggle, love for nation, hybridizations of language and culture, colonialism, politics, hegemonic power structure, repetition of history, symbols of rising sun after war and wheels as time. And we find Use of flas
